Francesca Vivenza presents

The Istituto italiano di cultura is pleased to host the presentation of Francesca Vivenza’s novel Il giorno del lungo viaggio alla finestra (The Day of the Long Journey at the Window), published in Milan by Edizioni Il Faggio. It is a novel that defies traditional narrative models and takes the reader on an intense and complex voyage that explores our cultural identities, existential questionings, linguistic and aesthetic concerns. The book will be introduced by Professor John Picchione of York University. The author will be present to talk about her writing and to show a short video, Mother’s Tongue, centered on the issue of language and the self, a recurrent motif of the novel.

The presentation will be in English.
