Beginner I

This course is an introduction to the basic elements of the language. Emphasis is placed on oral communication, pronunciation and vocabulary acquisition. Students will study the present tense of regular and most common irregular verbs; definite and indefinite articles; subject pronouns; simple and compound prepositions. 

Course length: 25 hours

Class duration
Weekly classes: two hours and thirty minutes.
Twice a week classes: two hours and five minutes.

Tuition fee: $280 (excluding textbook) 

Textbook: Nuovo Progetto Italiano, 1 - Edizioni Edilingua (Units: Introductory, 1, 2)
 
Number of students: 6-13

Beginner I & II correspond to level A1 of the Common European Framework.

Note: Saturday classes are canceled on long weekends.
